Day 1:

Introduction to Tynker and Flappy Charizard + Programming Basics

Flappy Charizard is a thrilling arcade-style game inspired by Flappy Bird—but with a Pokémon twist! Your child will learn the fundamentals of game design and programming while bringing Charizard to life in a flying adventure. In the first session, students will be introduced to Tynker and the Flappy Charizard game.

Design their game’s background, obstacles, and Charizard’s appearance.

Learn basic physics concepts such as gravity and motion to understand how Charizard interacts with obstacles.

Begin programming flap mechanics and movement, laying the foundation for an interactive game.

By the end of Day 1, your child will have a playable prototype of Flappy Charizard navigating through obstacles.

Day 2:

Advanced Programming – Conditionals, Variables, Scoring + Game Presentation

On the second day, your young coder brings their game to life in exciting new ways ✨

They will learn how to make Charizard respond smartly to obstacles using simple coding logic, with visual or sound effects that make the game feel more dynamic.

Your little creator will also build a scoring system, so every successful flight earns points and boosts confidence.

With plenty of room for imagination, participants can add their own obstacles, animations, or power-ups, turning the game into something truly personal. They’ll also try out their peers’ games and share feedback, learning how improvement and teamwork are part of great design.

To conclude, each child proudly presents their completed Flappy Charizard game, sharing not just a finished product, but the creativity, problem-solving skills, and digital confidence gained through this fun, Pokémon-themed coding journey
